Peripheral nerve entrapment
Care for peripheral nerve entrapment is tailored after a thorough assessment. For elbow, hand, and wrist conditions, chiropractic and physical therapy programs may be used, with treatment selected for each patient. DeFabio Chiropractic’s approach also uses orthopedic and neurological examinations, musculoskeletal strength and range-of-motion testing, and X-rays when appropriate.
After the findings are clear, the plan may use chiropractic adjustments, muscle stimulation, laser therapy, Graston Therapy, TECCAR Winback Therapy, or Shockwave Therapy. Corrective exercise, assisted stretching, rehabilitative conditioning, and active care or lifestyle modification may be added in the correction phase to address mobility and function.
DeFabio Chiropractic begins with a thorough examination and accurate diagnosis before recommending treatment. The care plan may include chiropractic care, physical rehabilitation, movement training, or other non-surgical options when appropriate for the findings.
